1993 Mazda RX-7 (FD3S) — Black

Rebuilt rotary, registered widebody, big single turbo. This FD3S Type R II has been taken well past factory spec, and the paperwork backs it up: the wide body conversion is officially certified (kounin) for road use in Japan, and the engine has already been overhauled.

The twin sequential turbos are gone in favour of a TO4 single-turbo setup, run through an F-CON V Pro ECU with a V-mount intercooler and radiator layout, an EVC boost controller, an ARC radiator and a SARD blow-off valve. A heavy-duty clutch, aftermarket exhaust, coilovers and RAYS 17-inch wheels finish the build. Compression figures for both rotors were recorded after the rebuild and came back even.

Five-speed manual, rear-wheel drive, right-hand drive, black paint, 86,000 km. Repair history: Yes. The repair dates back well before the current build and is noted as properly put right, but it is worth asking for close-up photos before committing.
