2002 Honda Civic Type R (EP3) — Championship White

Six-speed manual, front-wheel drive, and the factory helical LSD between the front wheels: this EP3 Civic Type R has the K20A doing what it was built for, 212 HP from two litres of naturally aspirated i-VTEC in a 1,190 kg three-door. The odometer shows 127,600 km, the car was first registered in July 2002, and it wears Championship White.

It isn't stock. A carbon fibre hood, Tein springs and an HKS intake are the changes, all bolt-on and all easy to live with. The recent work matters more to me than the parts list. A new Exedy clutch kit went in, the valve cover gasket was replaced, and it sits on a brand new set of summer tyres. Compression was checked at 220 psi across all four cylinders, which is a healthy K20 at this mileage.
