1. About Us

This store is operated by MidoriWorks, a sole trader business based in Japan. By accessing or using our store and placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our store.

2. Products and Listings

We specialise in the export of Japanese domestic market (JDM) vehicles and the sale of branded merchandise (including clothing and accessories). All product listings are provided in good faith and are as accurate as reasonably possible. However:

  • Vehicle condition is described to the best of our ability based on inspection reports and auction grades
  • Photographs and descriptions may not capture every minor imperfection
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or listing mistakes and will notify you before processing affected orders
  • Product availability is subject to change without notice

3. Ordering and Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You are legally permitted to purchase the products in your jurisdiction
  • All information provided is accurate and complete

We accept payment via Shopify Payments and PayPal. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.

All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Currency conversion rates are determined by your payment provider and may vary.

4. Shipping and Export

We ship internationally from Japan using third-party logistics carriers. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We are not responsible for any delays, costs, or restrictions arising from customs clearance in your country
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the purchase and importation of any product complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your country
  • Estimated shipping times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carrier delays, or circumstances beyond our control
  • Risk of loss and title for purchased items pass to you upon our delivery of the items to the carrier

We will provide tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

5. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be made before an order has been dispatched. Once an item has been shipped, the order cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation, contact us at info@midoriworks.com as soon as possible after placing your order.

6. Returns and Refunds

Due to the nature of our products (JDM vehicles exported from Japan and branded merchandise), all sales are final unless the item received is significantly not as described.

If you believe your item is materially different from its listing description, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We will review your claim and, if valid, work with you towards a fair resolution which may include a partial refund or return at our discretion.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind
  • Items damaged after delivery
  • Items where import duties or customs complications arose
  • Minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with the described condition or auction grade

For EU/EEA customers: if you are a consumer purchasing from within the EU or EEA, you may have additional statutory rights under local consumer protection law, including a 14-day right of withdrawal for certain types of goods. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this store, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of MidoriWorks or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this store without our prior written consent.

8. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, pricing, and other information on our store are accurate. However, we do not warrant that all information is error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct errors at any time without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MidoriWorks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our store or products, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our store shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

For customers in the EU or EEA: you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under applicable EU consumer protection law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our store after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
